Build your safety awareness and confidence.

Safety is an important conversation downtown, and this session is designed to make that conversation practical, approachable, and useful.

Join the Downtown Edmonton Community League for a free community safety presentation featuring guest speakers from the City of Edmonton and Edmonton Police Service.

The session will focus on:

• building situational awareness
• understanding factors that can affect personal safety
• recognizing when behaviour or a situation may be escalating
• practical approaches that can encourage positive and safe interactions

The goal is to help you feel more informed, more prepared and more confident when safety concerns arise.

The presentation will run for approximately one hour, followed by about 30 minutes to connect with neighbours, continue the conversation and ask questions of the presenters.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Registration is free.
