Learn how EPL navigates the richness and challenges of being a truly public space. Join Corrina Chetley-Irwin for a discussion of Convivencia, a Spanish concept for the capability to coexist across differences, and how it guides our approach to space sharing in a changing urban environment.
This session is adapted from a presentation delivered at the 2025 International Federation of Library Associations MetLib Conference.
Corrina Chetley-Irwin is the Executive Director, Employee Experience at Edmonton Public Library. She is an energetic and optimistic leader who is passionate about learning, conversations, and relationships. Corrina played a key role in developing and implementing EPL’s Convivencia Framework.
This session is part of Learn Downtown, a City of Learners speaker series offering bite-size learning opportunities downtown. A light lunch will be provided.
