In the trio’s debut album, Brighton Train, bassist William Chernoff and drummer Kevin Romain join Elkins to bring their expression of contemporary jazz to life.

Inspired by exploratory artists like Bill Frisell and Mary Halvorson, guitarist Madeleine Elkins writes music for her jazz trio at the crossroads of jazz, folk, and rock. Named one of the Vancouver Sun’s “Top 10 Artists to Watch in 2026”, Madeleine Elkins has been described as “one of the freshest and most varied players on the scene.”
