What the hell is going to happen? Who is actually going to vote? What does Danielle Smith want out of all of this? What happens if Albertans give her answers she doesn't like? And, perhaps most importantly, has Stephen Carter already fucked this up for Alberta, or does he still have six more days?

We'll make predictions that can and will be used against us. We'll talk strategy. We'll talk turnout. We'll talk separation, immigration, the Constitution and the increasingly complicated question of exactly what Alberta wants to be when it grows up.

And because apparently one existential crisis at a time isn't enough, we'll also look south.

Canada's relationship with the United States is changing fast. Trade wars. Tariffs. Trump. Threats. And the occasional suggestion that perhaps Canada shouldn't exist at all.

Is this a particularly good moment for Alberta to be reconsidering its relationship with the rest of Canada?
