On this day, we honour the children who never returned home, survivors of residential schools and their families. In partnership with the City of Edmonton, the Indigenous Peoples Experience at Fort Edmonton Park will be open as a ticketed event on Wednesday, September 30th, offering you the opportunity to seek out the truths as lived by Indigenous peoples after the formation of Canada.

Hours of Operation

9:30 AM - 10:30 AM | Opening Ceremony
- This ceremony will honour Survivors, their families, and the children who never returned home, while reminding us of our shared responsibility to listen, learn, and walk the path of reconciliation together.
10:30 AM - 4:30 PM | Indigenous Peoples Experience and Ticketed Sessions Begin

Admission

Ages 12+ are $5.00 per guest
Ages 11 & under are FREE

In the spirit of reconciliation and in honour of their crucial role in stewardship, storytelling, and shaping Amiskwaciwâskahikan/Edmonton, free admission is offered to all Indigenous Peoples. Indigenous guests may self-declare at the Box Office on the day of their visit or select tickets online in advance.

All proceeds from this event will support the continued development of Indigenous programming at Fort Edmonton Park. Thank you for your support.
