Selected as a Taproot pick
Art enthusiasts, collectors, and curious visitors are invited to meet local creators and discover local, provincial, and Canadian contemporary art in a walkable arts neighbourhood.
Since 1981, the Edmonton Gallery Walk has been a cornerstone of the city's vibrant arts community, promoting Canadian artists and fostering cultural enrichment.
The Gallery Walk is proudly hosted by independent small businesses along 124 Street — a walkable arts neighbourhood just west of Edmonton's downtown core, filled with fine art galleries, restaurants, boutiques, and public art murals.
Two official unguided walks take place each year — Spring and Fall — bringing together art enthusiasts, collectors, and curious visitors to meet local creators and discover local, provincial, and Canadian contemporary art. Member galleries also welcome visitors year-round with regular exhibitions and special events.
