Culture is a lived experience transmitted through the elders and absorbed by the young. In Passing the Stories Forward, Storytelling Alberta offers an oral storytelling initiative designed to celebrate Alberta’s cultural diversity and strengthen the "social glue" of our communities. This workshop provides a welcoming space for seniors to validate their personal histories and transform family memories into a "Living Archive" that strengthens our collective civic fabric. Participants will learn simple oral storytelling techniques to shape their life lessons into engaging, culture-rich narratives.
