Join us for a fun and friendly outdoor sing in the renovated Heritage Amphitheatre at Hawrelak Park. We’ll be encouraging participation so bring your voice, your friends and family, and spend some time with us in song. Enjoy the unique acoustics of the Amphitheatre and join us in singing music from Handel’s Messiah and Mendelssohn’s Psalm 42, and hits like Paul Simon’s Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Ian Tyson’s Four Strong Winds, Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, Oscar Peterson’s Hymn to Freedom, France Levasseur-Ouimet’s Parlez Moi and Eriks Esenvalds’ My Song. This is a great opportunity to try out singing with the choir and get your voice in shape for the upcoming concert season.

Get a jump on our exciting second season as Chorus Inspira led by Artistic Director, Tim Shantz with an informal sing in the park.

Sing in the Park is a free, non-auditioned event. Non-singing audience members welcomed! All registrants will receive free music to bring with them to the event, including excerpts from our upcoming season. Experience the joys of singing with the choir, conducted by Chorus Inspira's Artistic Director, Tim Shantz. Immerse yourself in the choir, or sit in the audience, it's up to you!

Free parking is available near to the amphitheatre. Washrooms are available in the park.

Bring a copy of the music provided, cushions, blankets, and bug spray.

Chorus Inspira T-Shirts will be available for purchase at $20 each, size S to 2X. Be sure to grab a season brochure for full details of our upcoming season, follow us on Facebook and check out our website chorusinspira.ca.

Whether you immerse yourself in the choir, or sit in the audience, you are encouraged to download the music or access live on Google Drive.
