The Berner Brothers, Doug and Don, both born and raised in Edmonton, performed the music of the Brecker Brothers at the Yardbird Suite and recreated some of the magic of that group for one night only. Now 10 years later, they revisit that sold out night and give a whole new audience a chance to hear the Berner Brothers play the music of the Brecker Brothers. They have both been featured on several recordings as well as at numerous jazz clubs and festivals throughout North America including the Festival International de Jazz de Montreal. They are regularly in demand freelancers in the City of Edmonton, play in dozens of ensembles, and are no strangers to Edmonton jazz audiences.
