Support, learning, and connection for Muslim and/or BIPOC caregivers AND those who want to learn how to support them.

Calling all Muslim and/or BIPOC family caregivers.

If you're providing care to an adult family member, you're invited to join a supportive group where you can connect with others who understand the unique experiences of caregiving. This group is also open to individuals who want to learn more about how to support family caregivers and better understand the caregiving experience.

Together, we'll explore common narratives about caregiving—both in society and within Muslim communities—and how these beliefs can shape our experiences. We'll also discuss some of the challenges caregivers often face, strategies for navigating them, ways to talk about a loved one's illness with others, and practical approaches to asking for help and building a support network.

Whether you've been caregiving for years, have recently stepped into this role, or are looking to better support someone who is a caregiver, you're welcome. Join us for a space that fosters learning, connection, reflection, and mutual support.

Facilitated by Nisreen Ibrahim, BA, BSW, RSW

Childcare available. Refreshments available.
