Join the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce for a candid conversation with the Honourable Ruby Sahota, federal Secretary of State (Combatting Crime), presented by the Downtown Revitalization Coalition, on what it will take to make Edmonton's downtown and business districts safe, vibrant, and investment-ready. Morning refreshments and pastries will be provided.

The data tells a complicated story. Edmonton's crime severity recently hit a five-year lowbut property crime is up, and for many business owners, perception hasn't caught up to the numbers. Our members are spending real dollars on security, lighting, and protective measures to manage challenges that require coordinated municipal, provincial, and federal responses, alongside a strong social-services safety net.

This event is part of the Chamber's continued work with the Downtown Revitalization Coalition to make Edmonton the safest major city in Canada, pairing visible safety, public-realm investment, and the right social supports.
