Come celebrate some of our city's greatest pits with a tour led by Stephanie Swensrude of Taproot Edmonton, followed by a panel discussion!

You asked! We're doing a live pit tour to some of the most iconic pits of Wîhkwêntôwin. We will meet at the St. Joseph's Cathedral Basilica (corner of Jasper Avenue and 113 Street). The tour should take approximately 1-1.5 hours. We will then head to the Oliver Exchange building for a panel to learn a bit more about these pits -- why they form, what they do to a neighbourhood, and how they can be fixed.
