No one should be excluded from the sport they love.

Featuring: Dr. Kris Wells and Jeff McLean

Pride Tape was invented 10 years ago right here in Edmonton. By partnering with the NHL, wrapping your s!ck with Pride Tape has become the largest diversity, equity and inclusion campaign in sports. It provides an easy and meaningful way to voice your support without using words and has created long-lasting change.

This talk will examine the Pride Tape movement and dive into our own biases and beliefs about 2SLGBTQ+ people. How it challenges stereotypes and misinformation and embraces intersectionality. Recognizing that all journeys are not the same! Pride Tape's social movement online, supporting those who are the most vulnerable to be their authentic selves.
