Simon Glassman's brilliantly absurdist comedy/horror film follows an unnamed viewer channel-surfing local TV stations in a small Alberta town where a sinister, sentient buffet restaurant is taking over. Yes, you read that correctly.
The story unfolds through a series of bizarre commercials as the new restaurant, "Buffet Infinity," begins to dominate everything (including local businesses), set to a soundtrack of cryptic messages and cosmic dread. Quite literally like nothing you've ever seen before, BUFFET INFINITY explores themes of consumerism and the decline of small-town life, blending a mesmerizing series of increasingly bizarre commercials with a dose of Lovecraftian horror.
