Celebrate and explore Indigenous traditions and activities at the Science Centre

On June 21, recognize and celebrate the cultures and worldviews of Indigenous Peoples who traditionally stewarded the lands of amiskwaciy-wâskahikan, Beaver Hills House (Edmonton), through various experiences indoors and outdoors.

8:00 a.m.**- Tipi raising and trappers' tent build outside in partnership with Métis Child & Family Services

9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. - Opening prayer from Elder Langford and lighting of the Qulliq in the main lobby (free access)

9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Indigenous artisan market in the main lobby (free access)

10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Indigenous-inspired programming inside (included with Science Centre General Admission)

11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - Free performances, activities, and Indigenous teachings outdoors

11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. - Free lunch outside provided by Pembina
