In The World of the Watchers, Stefanie Smith creates a speculative ecology through hand-formed porcelain figures that sit between folklore and observation.

Her intricately carved, owl-faced creatures appear in small groupings, suggesting a world shaped by attention and care. Developed through play and open-ended making, the work invites visitors to look closely, follow relationships between forms, and consider what it means to watch—and to be responsible for what we see.
