Come for an informative, energizing evening with your fellow communicators, and enjoy some light refreshments while you’re here.

The CPRS Edmonton Annual General Meeting is our once-a-year gathering to look at the chapter’s business together. We review the financial statements, hear updates from the president, elect board members, and take care of any other business that needs member input.

This year’s AGM will be followed by a compelling professional development session featuring communications consultant Jillian Best. She will take us inside how the City of Red Deer managed communications during the national postal strike: a practical, real-world example of crisis response, stakeholder engagement, and staying agile when things shift quickly.

This AGM also marks a leadership moment as Tammy Vineberg, APR, passes the torch as president to Crystal Wood, APR, ushering in the next chapter of our society’s work.

Note: The AGM and the professional development session are open to all communicators. The AGM is free to attend, but voting is for members in good standing.
