The Get Downs are one of Edmonton’s favourite retro party bands. A 10-piece soul, rhythm and blues ensemble, the band features the musical talents of a seasoned group of players and singers who have been hitting stages big and small across Western Canada for 25+ years. Every performance feels like a private party, where the band’s infectious energy and polish compel audience members to quite literally get down—grooving to the familiar hits of Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, Aretha Franklin, Earth, Wind & Fire, and many more.
