Proof of life is change. From cells to civilizations, from birthdays to new beginnings, growth is what drives us forward.

TEDxUAlberta’s 11th annual conference, ‘RegeneraTED’ invites the University of Alberta campus and greater Edmonton community to explore the power of renewal through TEDx talks spanning revolutionary topics in STEM, creativity, identity, language, equity, and societal structures. Speakers from different backgrounds will challenge assumptions, ignite curiosity, and inspire action. Together, we ask how transformation can reshape the way we live, connect, and understand one another.

Join us for bold ideas, fresh perspectives, and inspiring stories that challenge us to grow, adapt, and discover what it truly means to be RegeneraTED.

Event Structure:

The evening features 6 talks, each 12–20 minutes long. After the first two talks, guests will enjoy a live performance by a local artist. The next two talks are followed by a 40-minute dinner and networking break, and the event concludes with the final two talks.

What you’ll learn*:
  • Discover how to reshape identity, mindset, and inner narratives
  • Explore how innovation, science, and human-centred systems can transform the way we think and live
  • Learn how creativity, storytelling, and interdisciplinary action can turn adversity into impact and equity
