Tae Kim is an Edmonton-based pianist who finds his sound at the intersection of contemporary jazz and the Korean folk melodies of his heritage.

A familiar face in the Alberta music scene, Tae has had the opportunity to perform at the Edmonton Jazz Festival, the Yardbird Suite, and the Fairmont Palliser. His approach is simple: he prioritizes “good vibes” and lyrical storytelling, aiming to create a sincere, welcoming connection which introduces his culture to the audience.
Our live Tuesday Jam is hosted by a musician and a band while audience members join in on the fun by jamming along on stage.
Musicians who want to participate in the Jam can purchase a “Jam Participant” ticket at a reduced cost.
All Jam Participants need to register at the door upon entry to the event.
