Join Edmonton writer, filmmaker, and Order of Canada recipient Tom Radford for an evening exploring his latest book and documentary.
In this engaging presentation, celebrated writer, filmmaker, and historian Tom Radford explores the story behind his latest book and documentary Peggy & Balmer: Two Journalists at the Edge of History. Through the lives of his grandparents, Peggy and Balmer Watt, Radford brings us to Edmonton on September 1, 1905 — the very first day of Alberta’s existence — when the promise of a new province collided with political tensions that would shape its future for generations.
