Come listen to our highly regarded Jazz Combo and the newly formed Chamber Jazz Ensemble as they present traditional and contemporary jazz standards and stretch out as improvisers.

The MacEwan Jazz Combo, under the direction of Kent Sangster, showcases a variety of material arranged by the students while the MacEwan Chamber Jazz ensemble, directed by Allan Gilliland, features jazz works for ten horns plus rhythm section playing a mix of compositions and arrangements from jazz greats across the decades.
