From the audacious mind of John Waters comes Cry-Baby: The Musical — a high-energy, rock ’n’ roll rebellion bursting with humor, heart, and unforgettable tunes.

When Baltimore bad boy Wade “Cry-Baby” Walker falls for picture-perfect square Allison Vernon-Williams, sparks fly and the town’s social order goes up in flames.

Inspired by the cult classic film, Cry-Baby brings a fresh dose of attitude to the Roxy stage with a powerhouse score, razor-sharp wit, and a story that celebrates the outsiders, the dreamers, and anyone who’s ever been told to “fit in.” Cry-Baby features a Tony nominated book from the writers of Hairspray, and a Tony nominated score by the co-founder of Fountains of  Wayne. Featuring an incredible mix of Edmonton’s own emerging and professional talent, this show is one that will leave you saying “Nothing Bad is Ever Gonna Happen Again”!
