Monoceros is a modern-day version of The Wizard of Oz with bite.

Faraday dreams of being a large animal veterinarian but just feels ordinary. But when a classmate’s death interrupts her personal journey, she sets herself – and those connected to the deceased boy, Ethan – on a quest to get what she thinks he would’ve wanted: a Unicorn assistance certificate from the Unicorn Society of Lethbridge. A look at the ripple effects – both poignant and funny – of tragedy in a community. Based on the award-winning Canadian novel.

  • Book by Josh Epstein and Kyle Rideout
  • Music and Lyrics by Anton Lipovetsky and Ben Elliott
  • Adapted from the novel by Suzette Mayr
