The Liberian Roots and Black Histories event in Edmonton, hosted by the Liberian Friendship Society of Canada, celebrates the cultural heritage and contributions of the Liberian community and Black Canadians. Held during Black History Month, the event features performances, storytelling, historical presentations, and community activities designed to educate, inspire, and deepen understanding of Black history and Liberian roots. It provides a meaningful platform to celebrate diversity, promote cultural pride, and strengthen community bonds in Edmonton and beyond.
