Experience the origins of the British brass band tradition.

The Mill Creek Colliery Band presents Brass Roots: The Heritage of the Brass Band, the first concert in a new series exploring the history and evolution of brass band music.

This program focuses on the 19th-century roots of the genre, featuring classic operatic and orchestral works transcribed and reimagined for brass, showcasing the power, colour, and storytelling that defined the early brass band movement.

Join us for an evening of rich history, bold sound, and timeless music.
