Alberta’s Nuclear Engagement and Advisory Panel is hosting townhall sessions to give people across the province a chance to share what they think about nuclear energy as an option to meet growing electricity demands in the province. These sessions will give the public an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about nuclear energy, as well as provide input directly to panel members.

The panel will also meet with Indigenous communities, municipalities and regional stakeholders in each community. Visit alberta.ca/nuclear-energy-engagement for up-to-date information on nuclear energy engagement in the province.

Feedback will be analyzed and used to inform the panel’s final report, which will be delivered to the Minister of Affordability and Utilities by March 31. The report will help guide the development of a nuclear energy roadmap for Alberta.
