This intimate afternoon gathering is designed to create a space for all Black, Indigenous, and Women of Colour to rest, reconnect, and be in community. The experience is intentionally spacious, gentle, and restorative with a balance of guided movement, deep rest, and time to connect.

Event Flow

1:00 PM — Arrival & Settling In
Guests arrive, get comfortable, and ease into the space.

1:15–2:00 PM — Guided Movement
Led by Ting Pimentel‑Elger, a trauma-informed yoga teacher, this 45-minute movement session will be gentle, grounding, and accessible to all bodies. The focus is on helping participants arrive in their bodies, release tension, and feel supported rather than pushed.

2:00–2:45 PM — Sound Bath & Rest
Led by Minal Yaghi of REIKIWITHMIII, this 45-minute sound bath is designed to support deep rest. Participants will be guided into a restful, meditative state using sound and energetic healing techniques. Participants will leave the event feeling rejuvenated and ready for the week ahead.

2:45–4:00 PM — Connection & Unwinding
The afternoon concludes with unstructured time to connect, reflect, and unwind together in community.
