A webinar presenting the findings of The end of Canadian medicare? Alberta legislation opens the door to U.S. health care, a joint report by Parkland Institute and the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives (CCPA). The report shows how Bill 11 establishes a two-tier system for medically necessary care, introduces dual practice for physicians, expands private health insurance, and opens the door for U.S. health care corporations to operate in Canada. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Please join Parkland Institute for a free webinar to launch “The End of Canadian Medicare? Alberta Legislation Opens the Door to U.S. Health Care,” a new report that shows how Bill 11 puts Canadian medicare at risk and opens the door for American health insurance corporations to enter the Canadian market. Authors Andrew Longhurst and Rebecca Graff-McRae will unpack key issues and answer audience questions.
