In this workshop we’ll be creating a mixed media piece on paper using gouache or watercolour and acrylic paint marker.

We’ll talk about how to layer these media, where to use each to help achieve depth and draw the viewers eye around the piece and how to create interesting details. Participants should be comfortable with drawing.

We’ll go over some basic watercolour techniques for those who are brand new to using gouache and watercolour. During the class we’ll all create one piece together.
All materials are provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and be ready to paint in a relaxed, encouraging environment!
