The Flying Canoe Festival is a creative and interactive cultural celebration designed to engage with local history and all things awesome during a long winter night.

Inspired by the legend of the flying canoe and French-Canadian traditions,

of First Nations and Métis, the Flying Canoe Festival embraces

the magnificent Mill Creek Ravine in Edmonton and the Francophone Quarter of Edmonton.

With the warm welcome of the Edmonton community, the celebration also organizes school programs and all kinds of activations to further spread the joy, spirit, and education of the legend.
