This presentation explores how endowment funds enable charitable organizations to create long-term financial stability and sustained mission impact. Attendees will earn how strategic endowment building allows charities to support their programs and services in perpetuity, with the principal investment generating ongoing returns to fund operations and initiatives year after year.

The session will cover the key benefits of endowment funds for nonprofits, including reliable revenue streams, enhanced donor confidence, and the ability to establish spending policies that balance current needs with long-term sustainability. Participants will gain practical insights into launching endowment campaigns, working with community foundation partners who provide professional investment management, and communicating the value of endowments to potential donors who want to support the organizations future.

Whether building an endowment from the ground up or growing an existing fund, this presentation will provide actionable guidance for charitable leaders seeking to leverage available community resources and partnerships, allowing them to focus on their mission-driven work rather than investment management.

Please Note: Any non-profit can set up an endowment fund, however, to receive grants from the fund the organization either needs to have charitable status themselves or have a registered charity act as a fiscal agent on their behalf.
