Explore the layered paintings of Lonigan Gilbert in nâpêhkâsowinowâk ᓇᐯᐦᑲᓱᐃᐧᓄᐊᐧᐠ and notice the scenes from his everyday life.

Using oil pastels, experiment with sgraffito, a technique where an artist layers colour and then scratches away the final layer to reveal the colours underneath. Draw a scene from your life using a variety of marks.
