A wellness session tailored for the hospitality industry, covering four daily habits that keep your life balanced and healthy.

In a fast paced, hectic world it can often be difficult to know how to achieve the healthy balance required to feel good and be successful on a daily basis, no matter what stress one might be facing. This wellness session increases a participant's understanding of how 4 key foundational elements are so necessary for maintaining a healthy balance in a busy life, and helps participants integrate these elements into their daily lives so that balance can be achieved regularly.

The content of this wellness session will be tailored for the Hospitality Industry.

Please note - this session will be a LIVE ONLY presentation, it will not be recorded or available post event. Powerpoint presentations will not be available for distribution afterwards, but participants are welcome to take notes or screenshots throughout the presentation.

This mental wellness session is brought to you by In The Weeds YEG and presented by Kim Silverthorn.

About In The Weeds YEG

Our Purpose

To be the agents of change that are needed in hospitality, creating a culture of care, health, and wellness.

The Vision

To promote psychological health and safety for all members of the Edmonton food and beverage community by:

  • inspiring and empowering hospitality leaders to invest in workplace mental wellbeing
  • connecting hospitality workers in need with resources and tools to positively impact their mental health

Who We Are

We are a group of passionate hospitality industry professionals and supporters who have experienced the everyday challenges of working in a high stress, high stakes environment. We've dealt with the impact of personal struggles, and have felt the helplessness of watching friends and colleagues struggle. We have come together knowing there is strength in numbers, and that if others know they have support and are not alone, it will be a good step. In The Weeds is the start of a conversation, the desire to provide support, and a commitment to really be there for one another.
