The Town of Stony Plain is developing a new community training program to foster belonging, compassion, and connection among all residents.

This initiative aims to equip residents, community organizations, and local businesses with the knowledge and skills to better understand and interact with vulnerable individuals in our community—helping to build a more welcoming and supportive Stony Plain for everyone.

We want to hear from you! Community members, organizations, and businesses are invited to participate in a focus group and share their experiences. Your voice matters — your experiences, and insights will help shape a program that reduces stigma, challenges common myths, and strengthens our collective capacity to communicate and engage with empathy and respect.
