The Rose Campaign is a cornerstone of YWCA Edmonton's work to prevent violence, support recovery and build a future free from gender-based violence.
This year, we're shining a light on a truth that's too often overlooked: gender-based violence isn't just a women's issue. Men and boys are affected too – and they must be part of the solution.
Join us on November 24 at Ford Hall for an unforgettable Rose Campaign Launch, with keynote speaker Georges Laraque, along with powerful ways to support YWCA Edmonton:
- Purchase a Limited-Edition Rose Tote filled with curated products and services from local businesses
- Purchase Rose Raffle Tickets to get a chance to win 1 of 9 Edmonton experiences
- Join our YWCA Edmonton's Changemakers Network with a monthly gift of $25+ and receive a commemorative rose pin
Gender-based violence is a societal issue that impacts us all. Men play a crucial role in challenging harmful systems and championing change. We encourage you to bring the men in your life to this important event, because building a future free from violence requires all of us.
The need is urgent. Every hour of every day, a woman in Alberta is a victim of violence at the hands of an intimate partner. These numbers are staggering, but with your support, they can change.
Join us for this powerful conversation and be part of a movement for change. Together, we can help end gender-based violence.
