Join us at The Butternut Tree for a special one-night event as we celebrate Chef Bryce Wyman’s “Fermented Farewell: An Ode to Edmonton.”

This thoughtfully crafted six-course menu is a tribute to Chef Bryce’s time at The Butternut Tree — an exploration of fermentation in all its forms, and a reflection on the flavours, memories, and ingredients that have shaped his journey in our kitchen. Each course showcases the depth and nuance of fermentation, from the comforting tang of sourdough to the umami complexity of koji and miso.

Guests will be welcomed with a house-made Kombucha crafted by Chef Bryce himself, and at the end of the evening, will take home a jar of sourdough starter — complete with instructions to bake your own loaf and continue the fermentation story at home.
