The fourth annual City Building at the U of A Conference hosted by the Cities Institute will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at the Matrix Hotel in downtown Edmonton.

This year, the theme of the conference will be “Managing our Urban Future.” The event will bring together those across the University of Alberta as well as industry partners and community leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities that currently exist in the city building space.

Tickets are $150 (free for U of A students) and include breakfast, lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
