Join us for the premiere of HEY PANSY, a bold and timely new documentary that dives into one of today's most urgent cultural debates!

Set in Edmonton, the film follows fictional journalist Pam Flap as she investigates the rise of anti-trans and anti-drag rhetoric across the prairies. Through candid conversations with conservative protesters, educators, community members, academics, and drag performers, Pam asks one central—and provocative—question: Are drag queens dangerous?

Balancing humour with compassion, HEY PANSY offers a sharp, heartfelt exploration of inclusion, identity, and belonging at a moment when these conversations are more vital than ever.

Following the screening, stick around for a special Q&A with panelists featured in the film, hosted by guest moderator Kyler Chittick, a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Alberta and Co-Director of Rainbow Story Hub.
