Join Genome Alberta in celebrating two decades of advancing genomics and life sciences in Alberta and Canada! As part of Alberta’s Life Sciences Week, this celebratory morning will bring together leaders and changemakers from biotech, government, academia, and industry to reflect on our past achievements and our vision for the future.
What to Expect:
7:30am Doors open for networking and photos
Breakfast reception with innovation leaders in genomics, industry, government, and academia.
8:00am - 9:00am Formal program with guest speaker Alison Sunstrum. Alison is a serial entrepreneur, VC and angel investor finding and creating sustainable solutions that improve agriculture’s profitability, animal welfare and the environment. Alison is a Fellow and Founding partner in the Ag Stream of the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) Rockies and a passionate advocate for advancing women in STEM and Agriculture.
