Join Edmonton's own musical powerhouse, award-winning Mallory Chipman, for a special performance with a six piece band, featuring a never before seen Acoustic Set, followed up by a full band Electric Set live at the Yardbird Suite as she kicks off her fall tour.

Mallory Chipman is a prolific singer-songwriter-producer, working across folk, jazz and rock genres. With five albums to her name and a touring history in Canada, Europe, and Japan, Chipman is celebrated for her acrobatic voice and powerful storytelling, with a band featuring some of Western Canada's finest musicians.

Mallory has had the pleasure of opening for Jann Arden and Madeleine Peyroux, singing back-up for the iconic rock band Heart, and her latest solo album, Songs to a Wild God, hit #1 on CKUA and #5 on the Folk Alliance International charts, "whilst also placing itself with enthusiastic abandonment into the longer tradition of the great singer-songwriters" (Americana UK).

Don't miss Edmonton's own Mallory Chipman live as she premieres brand new intimate acoustic arrangements on the Yardbird Suite stage, and closes it out with her signature uninhibited musical fire.

Band members

Mallory Chipman, voice, tenor guitar
Brett Hansen, guitar, back-up vocals
Esther Forseth, guitar, back-up vocals
Murray Wood, bass
Jon Guenter, drums
Brady Lloyd, keyboard
