Join us for two days of collaboration, community, and professional growth at GDX 2025—Canada's indie-focused games industry conference and festival.
Now in its tenth anniversary year, GDX is bigger than ever, bringing together passionate Albertan, Canadian, and global games industry professionals to inspire one another, learn from each other, and grow together. This year's event will take place on the 2nd floor of the Queen Elizabeth II Federal Building on the Alberta legislative grounds.
During GDX, we share knowledge, build relationships, and discover new ways to elevate our craft with a focus on supporting local talent and independent voices in the games industry. Our summits focus on forging connections through building a better games industry, exploring emerging cultural and technological trends, and championing the next generation of game developers. We RISE together in service of building a Resilient Industry and Sustainable Ecosystem.
Opportunities are available to exhibit, sponsor, partner, and volunteer for GDX 2025. Discover how you can get involved at www.interactiveartsalberta.orgor email hello@interactiveartalberta.org.

Acknowledgement
We are honoured to host GDX on Treaty Six territory and in Métis Region IV, the traditional lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Anishinaabe, Blackfoot, Dene, and Nakota Sioux peoples. Edmonton, known as Amiskwacîwâskahikan (ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ), meaning "Beaver Hills House," has long been a gathering place for these Indigenous nations as well as the Inuit and settlers who came to the region later on. We respectfully acknowledge the enduring connection to this land that the Indigenous peoples have and the contributions they continue to make to our community.
