West End Hot Club at West End Cafés will bring the vibrant sounds of Hot Club jazz — originally born in 1930s Paris cafés — into the heart of west-central Edmonton.

Featuring clarinet and guitar duos, the series will host 10 laid-back performances at three beloved local cafés: CH Cafeteria, Square 1 Coffee, and Celebrate Gluten Free. These informal, drop-in concerts invite neighbours to slow down, listen, and connect — no tickets required, just grab a coffee and stay as long as you’d like.

Following a successful pilot last year, this expanded series aims to deepen community connection, celebrate cultural diversity, and support local artists through fair pay. It’s all about creating spaces where music, conversation, and everyday life intersect, making the West End feel just a little more magical.

The cafés are open for regular business during the show, with no cover charge.

The project is supported by the Stony Plain Road Business Association through the We Belong in Jasper Place program.
