You’re invited to join us in honouring the vibrant cultures, traditions, and voices of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples this National Indigenous Peoples Day.

Come together with fellow students, staff, and faculty for a powerful day of celebration, learning, and community. Whether you come to listen, learn, participate, or simply be present—this day is for all of us to come together in reflection, respect, and celebration.

Activities include:

  • Live cultural performances – drumming, dancing, and singing
  • Métis dot art workshop – create your own traditional-inspired artwork
  • Traditional food sharing – bannock, jam, and tea
  • Tipi teachings – learn about Indigenous worldviews and cultural teachings
  • Community dance - led by Lance Scout, everyone is welcome to participate
  • Educational and related resources - provided by the NorQuest Library

We look forward to seeing you there!
