Little compares to the majestic chords that open Tchaikovsky’s renowned Piano Concerto No. 1, performed by recent Honens International Piano Competition winner Illia Ovcharenko.

Bartók’s unconventional, yet captivating take on the concerto genre showcases members of the orchestra rather than one soloist. Finally, Anna Clyne’s PIVOTis centred around a toe-tapping Scottish fiddle theme to round out this lively program.
