Elixir’s Cabinet of Curiosities is back and reminding you to rewind your tape before returning. In the name of wonderful analog nostalgia, your local drag witch is proud to present: Be Kind Rewind.
Get a little witchy with Elixir and an incredible cast of curiosities as we sit down with a bowl of popcorn to indulge in some of our favorite movies from the past.
Do you love movies? We know you do.
In the modern age of digital media, small pieces of culture have been lost. The VHS tape was revolutionary technology, making distributing media more accessible than ever before. Join us for an evening of stars, where we will take back the simple and nostalgic act of walking the isles at Blockbuster on a Friday evening trying to decide between a new release or a classic comfort film.
Get ready to press play, because this cabaret is featuring a star studded cast of local performer:

All numbers will be based on movies released on VHS. So get your tickets to discover: Who will be the final gay? Who will get the girl? Does holding down the fast forward button actually make it go faster?
This is a 90-minute show with one 15-minute break featuring the magic of drag, burlesque, spoken word, and more. Produced by Elixir & Friends. Content warnings will be provided before each performance.
