The Edmonton Urban Farm is closing at the end of May and Shrubscriber still needs to find home for 100 trees
As you may have heard, the Edmonton Urban Farm is moving. In response, the Shrubscriber community has been hard at work relocating over 400 trees. Now, 100 trees still need good homes, and we’re inviting you to help us finish the job.
We have about 100 unclaimed bare-root trees, and they are starting to wake up - so it's now or never. That's why we're hosting a public tree sale this Saturday, May 10th.
We would love for folks to select trees using this tree selection tool as much as possible. The link will walk them through the available trees and allow them to pick a free tree (not-for-profits, McCauley residents), buy a single tree, or become a Shrubscriber.
These beautiful, bare-root trees—ranging from 18” to 48” tall—include: 🌳 Buckeyes, 🌳 Horsechestnuts (Holowach), 🌳 Black and White Walnuts, 🌳 Honeylocust, 🌳 Silver Maples, 🌳 Mulberries
Reserve yours today for $30 each, or free if you’re part of a not-for-profit, community initiative, or a McCauley resident.
