Players de Novo, in partnership with Northern Light Theatre and the Victoria School Foundation, proudly present A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM. Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart.
"Broadway's greatest farce is light, fast-paced, witty, irreverent and one of the funniest musicals ever written. A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum takes comedy back to its roots, combining situations from time-tested, 2000-year-old comedies of Roman playwright, Plautus, with the infectious energy of classic vaudeville."
Join us and more than 750 members of the Edmonton Legal Profession for Players de Novo's 18th annual performance in support of the Edmonton Theatre Community and the Victoria School Foundation. Together we've raised more than $1.4M and counting! Your $150 ticket includes the performance, a sponsored gala reception, parking and a $125 tax receipt.
