More Information

Welcome to the 29th annual Edmonton Jewish Film Festival (EJFF) where Jewish perspectives come to life. From May 6 to 15, we invite you to discover, connect, and engage with us, in person and virtually. Join the conversation, as we explore and reflect on stories, traditions, and history, from a wide and varied Jewish world.

This year, we offer four feature films in-person and two feature films online. Our in-person films will be shown at the Capitol Theatre at Fort Edmonton Park.

Tickets to in-person films are $15. Tickets to online films are $10. This year we are introducing a special rate for youth. Children accompanied by parents or post-secondary students under 21 (with student ID) can purchase tickets for $5. For $70, you can buy an all-access pass. Click on the Tickets tab above to buy your tickets, or the All-Access Pass tab to buy a pass to all in-person and online films. There are also three virtual short films, which are available for free with the purchase of another ticket.

Two special events will also be held - a Q & A session with the producer of Song of Ascent on May 7, and tours of the H.B. Kline store next to the Capitol Theatre on May 13. More information can be found in the film guide, under the entries for Song of Ascent and The Blond Boy of the Casbah.

Please note that online films are only available to Alberta residents.

The Jewish Federation of Edmonton extends deepest gratitude to our sponsors, volunteers, partners, and audience for making possible this wonderful community-wide event.
