Finally Son Of Dave is coming.

His totally unique off-piste brand of blues and funk party has been tried and tested at thousands of shows across five continents, with endorsements from Iggy Pop to Grace Jones, It’s a one-man blues-harmonica and beat-box sound like nothing else. (Lotsa hyphens, all well deserved.) His recordings have been used in Breaking Bad, a Robin Williams film and many more. Based in London UK for 26 years, but back in his native Canada (Winnipeg no less!), you will be expertly entertained by a real one-off old pro (was even once upon a time a founding member of Crash Test Dummies). Eleven exceptional albums to date, he’ll select from them all and add a bunch of covers from unexpected artists ranging from AC/DC to Daft Punk.

“Now a contemporary bluesman, this guy is really bloody good” – Iggy Pop on BBC6Music

“Can I have your phone number?” -Grace Jones

“That Ben Darvill was HOT on the harmonica” -Neil Young autobiography

“Genius. The most original musical artist in the blues idiom that i’ve ever heard since Little Walter at least.” – Mendelson Joe
